Important technical information for C-LAB FALCON MKII users

The FALCON MKII is shipped with an internal 2.5 SCSI-2 drive which is
set to SCSI ID 0.
Additional external SCSI devices must be terminated and set to another
SCSI ID number.
If additional devices are connected before boot-up, these will be
recognized if the option Install devices in the Extras menu on the desktop
is selected.
The internal drive of the FALCON MKII is already formatted, set to auto-boot
and divided in two partitions of 14.85 and 500 MB.
On partition C, you will find the hard disk driver software in the
Suite.ICD folder which allows you to create partition sizes up to two
gigabytes, as well as the CUBASE AUDIO 16 program,
which is set up ready to run provided the STEINBERG software protection
key has been installed.
On partition D, you will find a CUBASE AUDIO 16 demo song, which allows
you to immediately marvel at the audio quality of the FALCON MKII.
The song is a 8-tracks of digital audio complete in itself and a second
version integrating General MIDI tracks is also to be found on the disk.
The internal loudspeaker can be switched on an off using the
Control Panel function.
We strongly recommend regular back-up of all program data on diskette.
To back-up large Audio files, we recommend back-up to DAT
( using an external digital interface )or an external Syquest removable drive.
On partition C, you will find the "chkdsk3.prg" in the
config folder which allows you to defragment your harddisk data using the
-compress- function
